I don't know how much Gandhiji is respected in India or abroad... I would like to believe that he is!! I can, however, speak for myself. The only thought which comes to my mind on thinking of Gandhiji is reverence and gratitude. I believe he played an utmost important role (along with many other freedom fighters)in giving the posterity freedom to do what they wish to do. I shudder at the thought of living in a captivated country. I might not be able to show the feelings, offer flowers or so on but, Gandhiji would always be held in highest regard in my life.
